Copps Cottage

The County's home in the Country is in the Region's Camp Site at Cudham. The building is a single storey cottage and open all year round. It is fully equiped except for personal linen.

There is a large main room, a kitchen and a washroom with a shower and flushed toilets. Sleeping accommodation of 22 people is in a series of cubicles each containing bunks with pillows and curtained off for privacy. Some spare blankets are kept in the store at the back of the cottage.

The kitchen is equipped for 24 people with a catering-sized gas oven, fridge/freezer and generous sink with hot and cold water. The cottage has a very homely feel with a veranda area to the front.

There is a shop on site which sells a variety of goods and souvenirs. The site offers a number of activities including archery, grass sledges, low climbing wall, resource centre, obstacle course and a camp fire area.

The site boasts some beautiful natural areas.  Darwin's House at Downe and Christmas Tree Farm are in the vicinity, as well as Horse Riding, supermarkets and shopping in nearby Orpington and Biggin Hill.
